Martin Kaltwasser, geboren 1965, studierte Bildende Kunst und Architektur. Er arbeitet in den Bereichen Installation, Objekt, Design, Performance, Architektur und Stadtforschung und vor allem im Außenbereich und im öffentlichen Raum.
Er arbeitet zumeist ortsbezogen und verbindet Recherche mit räumlichen, objekthaften, architektonischen Umsetzungen. Viele seiner Projekte entstehen partizipatorisch und mit Abfällen aus dem städtischen Raum.
Von 2004 bis 2015 Zusammenarbeit mit der Künstlerin Folke Köbberling mit weltweiten Kunstprojekten und Ausstellungen.
Ab 2013 Arbeiten als Solokünstler und in wechselnden Kooperationen, beispielsweise 2013-2014 zusammen mit der Theatergruppe „Showcase Beat Le Mot“ Bau des Theatergebäudes „Ding Dong Dom“ in Berlin. Errichtung des Los Angeles Garden für die IGA Berlin 2017, nachfolgend als dauerhafte Erweiterung der "Gärten der Welt".

Martin Kaltwasser, born in 1965, studied Fine Arts and Architecture. He works in the areas of installation, object, design, performance, architecture and urban research. He mostly works ourdoor and in public space.
He works usually site specific and combines research with spatial, object-like, architectural realizations. Many of his projects are participatory and include waste and recycled material.
From 2004 to 2015 collabortion with Folke Köbberling with global art projects and exhibitions.
From 2013 further work as a solo artist and in changing collaborations, for example, from 2013 to 2014 along with the theater group "Showcase Beat Le Mot" construction of the theatre building "Ding Dong Dom" in Berlin. Building the Los Angeles Garden for the IGA Berlin 2017, subsequently as a permanent extension of the "Gardens of the World".
